These anatomic reconstructions are being used for multi-scale computational models that integrate from molecular networks in the cells to the integrated electrical and mechanical function of the normal and genetically engineered mouse heart.
This research is part of the Multi-Scale Modeling Initiative championed by the Interagency Modeling and Analysis Group (IMAG). The National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering is part of the IMAG.
