Geographical spread:
0= No activity, no laboratory-confirmed cases, or evidence of increased or unusual respiratory disease activity;
1= Sporadic, isolated cases of laboratory-confirmed influenza infection;
2= Localized, limited to one administrative unit in the country (or reporting site) only;
3= Regional, appearing in multiple but <50% of the administrative units of the country (or reporting sites);
4= Widespread, appearing in >=50% of the administrative units of the country (or reporting sites).
